Long-press anywhere on the map — or search by name — and a place is pinned in under 15 seconds. Fast enough to catch a recommendation mid-conversation.
Your own order
Build your own categories from a set of icons and colours, and add any tags you can type. One category keeps each pin readable at a glance; tags catch the rest — “sunset”, “date night”, “with kids”. Then group places into lists — “Rome 2026”, “coffee to try” — one place can live in as many as you like.
Offline by design
Your collection lives on your device first. Pins, notes, photos and lists open on a mountain trail or three stops into the metro — no signal required. The map background itself still needs a connection; downloadable offline maps arrive later with Pro.

The app works fully without an account. Your places live in a database on your device, and everything — pinning, organising, searching — happens right there.

On the free plan your collection never reaches our servers — there's nothing to sync and nothing for us to see. Cloud backup is a Pro feature you switch on deliberately.

Cloud backup & sync
Your whole collection — places, notes, categories, tags, lists and photos — backed up to the server and kept in step across every device you sign in on. A new phone gets everything back by signing in. On the free plan one device is active at a time and nothing is uploaded; this is what changes that.
Offline maps
Frame the area you're heading to and download it — the neighbourhood, the valley, the stretch of coast. The map then draws from your device instead of the network: no roaming, no dead grey screen where there's no signal. Your pins show either way; Pro is what makes the map itself work offline.
Shared lists
Send someone a list — “Lisbon, the good bits” — and they open it on their own map, offline included. They don't need Pro to look; only sharing is paid. Your other places stay private: a shared list shows exactly what you put in it, and nothing else.
Reminders
Two kinds. “Remind me about this place” at a time you pick — Friday evening, next month. And “when I'm nearby”, which quietly notices you're near a saved place and tells you, even with the app closed. The second one is the reason you saved the place in the first place.
Pro arrives a few months after launch, once the free app has earned it. Pricing lands with it — and joining the waitlist costs nothing either way.

Soon — the iOS, Android and web versions are in final polish now. Join the waitlist and you'll get exactly one email: the one that says it's live.
Is it really free?
Yes. Pinning, organising, searching and viewing are free and unlimited — that's the whole point of the app, so it isn't rationed. A paid Pro tier comes later for the things that cost real money to run: cloud backup and sync, and offline maps.
Do I need an account?
No — the app works fully without one, and on the free plan your collection stays on your device either way. An account is optional: it's how you join a shared list, post on the ideas board, or add Pro when you want cloud backup and sync.
What happens if I lose my phone?
Be honest with yourself about this one: on the free plan your places live on your device only, so keep a copy. Export a full backup whenever you like — it's free — and on Android the app can write a dated backup to a folder you choose automatically. Restoring is just importing that file. If you'd rather not think about it, Pro backs your whole collection up to the cloud and syncs it across your devices.
Does it work offline?
Your data does — pins, notes, photos and lists all open with no connection, free. The map background itself needs network; downloadable offline maps — you frame an area and save it — come with Pro. When there's no signal, the app says so honestly instead of pretending.
How do lists work?
Group places into lists like “Rome 2026” or “coffee to try” — one place can live in as many lists as you like. Imports land in their own list too, so nothing gets mixed up. Lists are free and work offline; sharing lists with friends arrives later with Pro.
Can I import my Google Maps places?
Yes — export your “Saved Places” with Google Takeout and import the file directly; saved lists from Takeout work too. Coming from Mapstr? Its export imports as well, alongside GPX and KML files. Everything lands in its own “Imported” list so you can sort at your own pace.
Can I get my data back out?
Yes. Export your full collection as CSV, GPX, KML or a complete JSON backup whenever you like, free — and on mobile, a full backup .zip that includes your photos. It's your data — leaving should be as easy as arriving.
